Rule Description

The Minnesota Department of Administration is proposing to adopt rules relating to modification of the State's building code. The purpose of this web page is to provide a convenient place to disseminate information about the rulemaking process.

For a discussion of the substance of the proposals, see the Department's website, www.admin.state.mn.us/buildingcodes/rules/rules.html.

A public hearing on these rules was held on Monday, December 9, in St. Paul.

The record will close for all purposes on January 7, 2003 at 4:30 p.m. The Judge's report will be issued no later than February 6.

Posted below are a few of the comments which have been sent to the judge. As soon as the Department submits any proposed changes to the rules, the changes will be posted here.
