General Information

The Interstate Power 2010 Rate Proceeding application has been referred by the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission to OAH for a contested case proceeding. This matter has been assigned to Judge Bruce Johnson. This webpage is intended to provide useful and timely information to the public and parties to this matter. The ALJ in this matter will be making a recommendation to the Commission regarding the requested increase by Interstate Power to its electric rates. The recommendation will include an assessment of the overall requested amount of the increase (approximately $15.1 million, or about 22 percent overall) and the design of the proposed rates.
