
ALJ Report Issued
Judge Heydinger's ALJ Report in the proposed rules governing Workers' Compensation Permanent Partial Disabilty Schedules, has been issued. The rule now goes to the Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry for adoption.
General Information
The Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry's proposed rules governing Workers' Compensation Permanent Partial Disability Schedule (Minnesota Rules, Part 5223) have been assigned to Judge Heydinger. Judge Heydinger will issue a report with respect to the proposed rules in late April. This website is intended to provide useful and timely information about the rulemaking proceeding.
As part of the rulemaking process, a hearing was held at the Department of Labor & Industry in St. Paul, Minnesota on March 4, 2010. During the hearing, a period of eight calendar days was set for the receipt of written comments regarding the proposed rules. Thus, the initial deadline for the submission of written comments in this rulemaking proceeding is 4:30 p.m. on March 12, 2010.
After the period for submission of written comments ends, state law provides the agency and all interested persons an additional period of five working days for filing a written response to any comments that were submitted during the initial comment period. New matters may not be introduced or raised during this five-day rebuttal period. The five-day rebuttal period will expire at 4:30 p.m. on March 19, 2010.
