
Judge Lipman's ALJ Report and Chief Judge Krause's Chief ALJ Report on the DHS SIRS rules are available. DHS must take corrective action and re-submit the rules to the Chief Administrative Law Judge prior to adopting the rules.
General Information
The Minnesota Department of Human Services has proposed amendments to its rules governing the Surveillance and Integrity Review Section (SIRS) as found in Minnesota Rules, chapter 9505. On October 31, 2007, Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) Eric L. Lipman conducted a public hearing on these proposed rules. Following the hearing, a 20-calendar day comment period closed on November 20, 2007. A five-business day rebuttal period closes on Thursday, November 29, 2007, at 4:30 p.m. The post-hearing comments received by the public, as well as the responses submitted by the Department, are posted below.
