NOTICE OF PREHEARING CONFERENCE

 

This matter was referred to the Office of Administrative Hearings by the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission on April 26, 2010, and assigned to Administrative Law Judge Manuel J. Cervantes.  The Commission directed that a 60-day period be provided for parties to negotiate before other proceedings begin.

On July 9, 2010, Integra Telecom moved for this proceeding to begin under the contested case process, citing discovery issues.  On July 14, 2010, Qwest responded to the motion, agreeing that a prehearing conference should be scheduled in this matter to establish the procedures to be followed throughout the course of this contested case proceeding

Pursuant to the Commission's direction, a prehearing conference will be held on July 27, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in the Large Hearing Room at the Public Utilities Commission, 121 Seventh Place East, Suite 350, St. Paul, Minnesota 55101-2147.  Persons participating in the prehearing conference should be prepared to discuss time frames, scheduling, intervention, discovery procedures, the issuance of a protective order, and similar issues. Potential parties are invited to attend the prehearing conference and to file their petitions to intervene as soon as possible.
