FIRST PREHEARING ORDER |
The above matter came on for hearing on June 23, 2000, at 9:30 a.m. at the Office of Administrative Hearings, 100 Washington Square, Suite 1700, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Barbara Andrews, Andrews Investigative Group, Inc., 111 Marquette Avenue North, Suite 1902, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55401, appeared on behalf of the Licensee, Andrews Investigative Group, Inc. Michael R. Pahl, Assistant Attorney General, 525 Park Street, Suite 200, St. Paul, Minnesota 55103, appeared by telephone on behalf of the Department of Public Safety, Private Detective and Protective Agent Services Board.
Based upon discussions with the parties, it is hereby ordered as follows:
1. The hearing in this matter shall be continued to Thursday, July 20, 2000, at 9:30 a.m., in the courtrooms of the Office of Administrative Hearings, 100 Washington Avenue South, Suite 1700, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
2. The
Licensee is reminded that, if it fails to be available for this hearing without
good cause and without making an appropriate request for continuance in advance
of the hearing, it shall be deemed to be in default and the allegations or
issues set forth in the Notice of Order for Hearing may be deemed proved and
its corporate private detective license may be revoked without further proceedings.
