Dear Mr. Kaisershot and Mr. Jacobson:
This letter constitutes the First Prehearing Order in the above matter regarding our discussions during the prehearing conference held October 19, 2010. Mr. Kaisershot appeared for the Department of Labor and Industry; Mr. Jacobson appeared without counsel for himself and Majestic Renovations, Inc. (Respondents). I have enclosed for Mr. Jacobson some materials from our website on how to prepare for a contested case hearing. I encourage him to review those materials before the hearing.
We set the following deadlines:
•January 3, 2011: Deadline for exchanging all exhibits the parties intend to offer into evidence at the hearing, along with a witness list containing a brief summary of the anticipated testimony of each witness. Please send a copy of the exhibit and witness lists to me at this time.
•January 10, 2011: Hearing, commencing at 9:30 a.m. at OAH.
