Dear Ms. Zimmer and Ms. Sleiter:

 

          Enclosed please find the Protective Order in the above matter.  The purpose of the Protective Order is to permit the County to provide Ms. Sleiter with any documents in its file that contain nonpublic information, so that Ms. Sleiter can prepare for the hearing.  The hearing is scheduled to take place commencing at 1:30 p.m. on March 9, 2011, in Conference Room 7, Third Floor, Lyon County Government Center, 607 West Main Street, Marshall, Minnesota.  By March 2, 2011, the parties should exchange all exhibits they intend to offer into evidence and a witness list containing a brief summary of the testimony anticipated for each witness.  Please send copies of the lists to me.

 

          In addition, I have enclosed for Ms. Sleiter some materials from our website on how to prepare for a contested case hearing.  I encourage her to review the materials before the hearing.  There is also contact information for the Volunteer Lawyers Network.
