Dear Mr. Schwandt and Ms. Christiansen:
This letter constitutes the First Prehearing Order in the above matter regarding our discussions in the telephone prehearing conference on November 10, 2010. Mr. Schwandt appeared for the Department of Human Services; Ms. Christiansen appeared for herself without counsel.
During the conference, the parties indicated that they are close to resolving this matter and need some time to address one contingency and finalize the agreement. Mr. Schwandt will either advise me within approximately 30 days that the matter has been resolved, or he will contact me to schedule another prehearing conference in the event it is not resolved.
