In the Matter of the Temporary Immediate Suspension of the Child Care License of Diana Shaw

ORDER FOR CONTINUANCE

 

          The above-entitled matter was scheduled for hearing before Administrative Law Judge Beverly Jones Heydinger on August 25, 2005.   

Appearances:  Rebecca S. Morrisette, Assistant Hennepin County Attorney, 525 Portland Avenue, 12th Floor, Minneapolis, MN 55415, on behalf of the Department of Human Services and Hennepin County Human Services and Public Health Department.  Diana Shaw, 3211 Bryant Ave. No., Minneapolis, MN 55412, on her own behalf.

Ms. Shaw has requested a continuance in order to review the documents provided by the Department and to review the rules and statutes governing this appeal.  A telephone conference was held with Ms. Shaw and Ms. Morrisette on August 18, 2005 to discuss the continuance and to reset the hearing to a mutually acceptable date.  Ms. Shaw understands that her license has been suspended and that she may not provide child care while her appeal is pending. 

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED:

This matter is continued to October 4, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. at the Office of Administrative Hearings, 100 Washington Avenue South, Suite 1700, Minneapolis, MN 55401.
