As you know, a prehearing conference has been scheduled in this matter for January 28, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. Ms. Staten left me a voice mail message last week requesting that the prehearing conference be held by telephone conference call rather than requiring an appearance at the Office of Administrative Hearings in St. Paul.

Accordingly, I will initiate a conference call to the parties on Wednesday, January 28 at 1:30 p.m. (central time). I will plan to call Ms. Staten at the number she provided in her message, and Mr. Kaisershot at his office. If you wish to be contacted at a different telephone number, or if anyone else should be included in the conference call, please notify me in advance. During the prehearing conference, we will discuss the issues raised in this case, consider the proposed witnesses for each party, discuss documents to be exchanged between the parties, and set dates on which the hearing will occur.
