In the Matter of the Individual Insurance License of Calvin J. Barlocker and the Insurance Agency License of Barlocker Insurance Agency

ORDER FOR MEDIATION

          WHEREAS, both parties to the above matter have consented to mediate the above matter.

          THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, pursuant to Minn. Rule 1400.5950 that Bruce H. Johnson, Administrative Law Judge, Office of Administrative Hearings, 100 Washington Square, 100 Washington Avenue, Suite 1700, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55401-2138, telephone 612-341-7607, is appointed as mediator in this matter, and that the mediation shall be held on April 27, 2006, beginning at 1:30 p.m., at the Office of Administrative Hearings, 100 Washington Square, Suite 1700, 100 Washington Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota.  It is strongly recommended that a person with authority to settle this case for each party be present.  If that is not possible, that person shall be immediately available by telephone.

          IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, no later than one week prior to the mediation, each party shall file with the mediator a confidential mediation statement which shall set out (1) a brief summary of the facts and issues, (2) a description of settlement discussions to date, and (3) a list of the names and titles of persons who will attend the mediation.  The mediation statement need not be served on the other party. 

          IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that after termination of the mediation the mediator shall forward either a signed settlement agreement to the presiding Judge or, if no agreement is reached, a request to set a new date for a contested case hearing.
