FIRST PREHEARING ORDER

          A prehearing conference was held on January 18, 2000 at the Office of Administrative Hearings.  Paull F. McEllistrem, Hauer, Fargione & Love, P.A. appeared for Raymond Rice.  Mary Kay Kolar, Hansen, Dordell, Bradt, Odlaug & Bradt, PLLP, appeared for the Minnesota Assigned Claims Bureau. There was no appearance on behalf of the Department of Commerce.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED:

1.               Discovery shall be completed by March 6, 2000.  By that date, each party shall serve and file a statement identifying persons who may be called as expert witnesses, if any.  The statement shall describe the subject matter of the expected testimony, the substance of the facts and opinions to which the expert is expected to testify, and a summary of the grounds for each opinion.

2.               By April 6, 2000, the parties shall exchange proposed exhibit and witness lists and file a copy  with this office.  To the extent possible, the parties shall enter into prehearing stipulations regarding the facts involved in the hearing and foundation for anticipated exhibits.

3.               The hearing shall commence at 9:30 a.m. on April 13, 2000, at the Office of Administrative Hearings.
