ORDER FOR CONTINUANCE

 

          The above-entitled matter was scheduled for a prehearing conference before Administrative Law Judge Beverly Jones Heydinger (“ALJ”) on January 3, 2003.   

Ruth E. Flynn, Assistant Attorney General, 445 Minnesota Street, Suite 1400, St. Paul, MN 55101-2131, appeared on behalf of the Board of Nursing.  Ms. Flynn received a request for continuance from Ms. Michel because of a death in Ms. Michel’s family.  Ms. Flynn agreed to the continuance. 

At the request of the Respondent, and for good cause shown,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED:

1,       The prehearing conference is rescheduled for January 27, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at the offices of the Board of Nursing, 2829 University Avenue S.E., Suite 500, Minneapolis, MN 55414.  

2.       If Respondent fails to appear without the advance consent of the administrative law judge, Respondent shall be deemed in default and the allegations in the Notice of and Order for Hearing may be taken as true without further evidence and the Board of Nursing may take action against Respondent’s license to practice practical nursing in the State of Minnesota.
