FIRST PREHEARING ORDER

          A prehearing conference in this matter was held on April 17, 2002, in Minneapolis.

          Appearing on behalf of the Complaint Panel of the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners was Steven M. Gunn, Assistant Attorney General, NCL Tower, Suite 1400, 445 Minnesota Street, St. Paul, MN 55101-2131.

          Appearing on behalf of David M. Pietsch and Pietsch Chiropractic was John B. Wolfe, Jr., Attorney at Law, 220 Highland Bank Building, 2100 Ford Parkway, St. Paul, MN 55116.

          Based upon all the files and proceedings herein, the Administrative Law Judge makes the following:

ORDER

1.                 Counsel must proceed with discovery promptly.  The last day to complete discovery shall be June 24, 2002.

2.                 Any motions for partial summary disposition or any other dispositive motions must be filed no later than July 8.  Replies shall be filed no later than August 3.  The Administrative Law Judge will attempt to rule on the motions by August 13, or as soon thereafter as his schedule allows.

3.                 The hearing in this matter shall begin on Monday, September 9, 2002 and counsel shall reserve four days for the hearing.  The hearing will be held in Minneapolis at the Office of Administrative Hearings.
