NOTICE OF PREHEARING CONFERENCE |

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that a Prehearing
Conference in the above matter will be held on September 15, 2010, at 3:00 p.m., at the Office of Administrative
Hearings,
The Chief Administrative Law Judge,
Office of Administrative Hearings, has assigned this matter to the Honorable
Beverly Jones Heydinger, Administrative Law Judge. All mail sent to the Administrative Law Judge

If any party has good cause for
requesting a delay in the prehearing conference, the request must be made in
writing to the Administrative Law Judge at least five days prior to the
scheduled date. A copy of the request
must be served on other parties.
Any party intending to participate as
a party in this proceeding must file a Notice of Appearance form and return it
to the Administrative Law Judge and a copy must be served on the other
parties. A Notice of Appearance form is
enclosed.
All persons have the right to be
represented by legal counsel, by themselves, or by a person of their choice if
not otherwise prohibited as the unauthorized practice of law. Persons who are not lawyers and who seek to
represent others must present a signed authorization to appear on their behalf.
The purpose of the prehearing
conference is to simplify the issues, stipulate to facts or exhibits, to
consider such other matters as may be necessary, and, if possible, to reach a
settlement without the necessity for a hearing, or to set the dates for
hearing.
The Office of Administrative Hearings
conducts hearings for the Municipal Boundary Adjustments Unit in accordance
with Minn. Rules parts 1400.5100 et seq.,
to the extent consistent with Minn. Stat. ch. 414 and Minn. R. parties
6000.0100 et seq., and with the
Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct and the Professionalism Aspirations
adopted by the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Any person who needs an accommodation
for a disability in order to participate in this prehearing conference or the
hearing may request one. Examples of
reasonable accommodations include wheelchair accessibility, an interpreter, or
Braille or large-print materials. If any
party requires an interpreter, including a foreign language interpreter, the
